Description
Humboldt Seed Organization Mango Sapphire very indica-dominant genetics result in a plant with thick, strong stems and typically large, broad fan leaves. It grows very well indoors and also outdoors in warm, dry temperate as well as Mediterranean climates. At higher latitudes where the climate is less dependable it can be grown with the added protection of a greenhouse. Heavy bud development requires support in the form of trellising or something similar. Fairly low levels of nutrients are needed for good growth.
The buds are starting to become quite large and dense in the 5th week of flowering and fully mature buds are ready to harvest in around 7 weeks. Indoor yields are in the region of 350 – 500 gr/m2. Outdoor plants grow to a height of 2 – 3 meters with yields between 1 and 2 kilos dried weight per plant with northern hemisphere harvests being in late September through to mid October.
As is suggested by its name there is quite a strong mango flavour and this is complemented by other tropical fruit flavours as well as coconut. A sharp, fuel-like flavour on the finish derives from the OG component. THC production is very high and is measured at 21 – 23% with low CBD at 0.1%. Strongly cerebral in effect followed by a nice, relaxing body high which makes Mango Sapphire ideal for pain relief as well as appetite stimulation.
